The general secretary of the PSOE in Mojacar and Municipal Socialist Group spokesperson on the City of Mojácar, Manuel Zamora, along with other members of the Municipal Executive socialist held a meeting with representatives of the Association of Residents of the neighborhood of La Parata, and have made a visit to the neighborhood where they could find the gaps, some of particular importance because of access problems caused to the 160 families residing in the area.
As pointed out by the Socialist spokesman "the main problem we found is in danger of collapsing in the Golondrina street, due to cracks that rain has caused the retaining wall behind the street."
Security
On this subject Manuel Zamora pointed out that "the Town Hall of Mojacar has not worked anything to solve this security problem despite knowing in July last year simply denied access to high-tonnage vehicles and has since been denied access, despite having made investments in that year to repair damage from rainfall over 177,000 euros in other areas of the Village, without having solved the problem in this street. "
"The Town Hall of Mojacar is responsible for maintaining public roads within the Village in good condition and this road requires urgent construction of a new retaining wall to ensure the passage of vehicles safely, before it reaches the new season of rain" he assured Manuel Zamora.
Zamora also added that "the same way we should build a small bridge to ensure the passage of vehicles on the boulevard that is the entrance to the neighborhood because it is a dangerous point that they have to cross all the neighbors and surrounding the danger of dragging in case of rain, something that happened recently. Meanwhile, we urge that, at that point, the city remains clean river water pipes that pass under the road, now completely blocked by the earth that carries the rain. "
Finally Manuel Zamora also said that "we have seen the damage in situ in the firm of Avenida La Parata after the work of a particular electrical installation took place, and the lack of drainage of neighbors of Águila Street, a few problems that the Town Hall has to respond as soon as possible. "
"The PSOE de Mojácar always claiming that meet the needs of each and every one of the neighborhoods of our town, as is the case of La Paratá, which brings together more than 160 homes paying taxes like the rest of neighbors and that the view is not receiving the appropriate attention by the Town Hall" concluded the spokesman for the Municipal Socialist Group in the municipality of Mojácar.
